A Paradise 20 Years in the Making
Celebration Key represents the first major project completed on Grand Bahama Island in over two decades. The 68-acre destination features world-record attractions including the Caribbean’s largest freshwater lagoons and the world’s largest swim-up bar with 166 in-water seats.
The centerpiece is a stunning 10-story “Suncastle” at Paradise Plaza, complete with two thrilling water slides. This architectural marvel serves as both an attraction and the island’s highest viewpoint.

Local Bahamian performers provided authentic cultural entertainment with Junkanoo parades and traditional music.
Economic Impact for Grand Bahama
Celebration Key will initially welcome over two million guests annually, with projections reaching four million by 2028. This tourism boom creates hundreds of permanent jobs for local residents and represents a significant economic boost for the island.
The destination offers 14 casual dining venues, with each guest receiving one complimentary “Island Eats” meal featuring Caribbean flavors and international favorites.
Already Breaking Records
Since opening, Celebration Key has achieved several milestones. On July 22, it welcomed its first double-ship call with Carnival Glory and Carnival Conquest bringing over 7,000 guests. Just two days later, the massive Mardi Gras became the largest Excel-class ship to visit the destination.
Celebration Key operates year-round, offering Carnival guests a taste of authentic Bahamian paradise just 65 miles from Florida’s coast. The destination promises to become a must-visit highlight for Caribbean cruise enthusiasts seeking both adventure and relaxation in an exclusive tropical setting.
